At the December 20th Annual Board Meeting of the Kenora Catholic District School Board, Frank Bastone was acclaimed as Chair and Teresa Gallik was elected Vice Chair.

According to the Fraser Institute's 2016 Annual Report Card on Ontario's Elementary Schools, Kenora Catholic District School Board's elementary schools received top marks in Kenora and Red Lake.

Today, Cassidy Swejda, a 2016 graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas High School is being recognized by the Canadian Blood Services for her volunteer work as a peer recruiter. For the past four years at the high school, Cassidy has worked to educate her classmates and peers about the importance of donating blood and she also helped them to sign up.
