The Kenora Catholic District School Board would like to announce that Lori Bazelo will continue as the Vice Principal at Pope John Paul II School for the 2016/2017 School year. Lori is currently fulfilling the role due to a vacancy created by a Ministry of Education secondment.

Lori has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba, Math Specialist AQ Qualifications and Religious qualifications. She also has Part 1 of her Principal's Qualifications and is currently taking Part 2.

Lori has worked for the Kenora Catholic District School Board for over 19 years as a classroom teacher, Teacher-in-Charge and Numeracy Facilitator and most recently in a temporary Vice Principal capacity.

Lori will continue in the role of Vice Principal for Pope John Paul II School for the 2016/2017 school year. Lori is fulfilling the Vice Principal position as Jackie Robinson is in year two of a three-year secondment with the Literacy and Numeracy Secretariat as a Student Achievement Officer with the Ministry of Education.
Pope John Paul II School is a junior Kindergarten to grade 6 school located in the heart of the Catholic campus. The school has an enrolment of approximately 330 students. Built in 2008, this is the newest elementary school within the Kenora Catholic District School Board. Pope John Paul is a close-knit school community that celebrates a strong focus on Catholic values, academics, arts and athletics. Pope John Paul II School continues to inspire a caring school community alive with Gospel values through their "Do Unto Other's Program".
