Our Board
The Kenora Catholic District School Board is a vibrant Catholic school community serving approximately 1, 280 students across four elementary schools and one secondary school in Kenora and Red Lake, Ontario.
We provide an exceptional Catholic education where every learner is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Guided by faith, we cultivate safe, caring, and inclusive schools that promote academic excellence, personal growth, well-being, and a lifelong love of learning.
Education at KCDSB extends beyond the classroom. Through innovative teaching, the arts, athletics, outdoor and experiential learning, Indigenous education, and strong community partnerships, students develop their unique gifts, build meaningful relationships, and become compassionate, responsible citizens who make a positive difference in the world.
Our People
Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. Teachers, educational assistants, support staff, administrators, and system leaders each play an important role in creating engaging learning experiences and fostering environments where students can succeed.
With approximately 240 dedicated employees, the Kenora Catholic District School Board is one of the region's largest employers. Together, we foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and faith while inspiring every learner to grow with confidence, purpose, and a strong sense of belonging.
Our Schools
Each of our five schools, including four elementary schools and one secondary school with a dedicated Grade 7/8 track, has its own unique character, traditions, and learning opportunities, while sharing a common commitment to excellence in Catholic education. Together, they provide safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments where students are inspired to learn, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in school and in life.
