Mental Health and Wellness

A little boy throws his arms up in excitement

The Kenora Catholic District School Board remains committed to ensuring all our students receive wrap around supports to ensure their emotional needs are being met. With our Mental Health Strategy at the forefront we've built the foundations for mental health promotion and prevention programming for our staff and students.

We know that at the heart of every school mental health is caring, supportive and healthy relationships. Our programming fosters a sense of community between the students and teachers.

Mental Health Supports Available to Students and Families

We have a team of regulated mental health professionals who can provide a variety of mental health services to our students and their families.  Services may include: individual counselling, parenting support and consultation to educators.  To access our mental health team simply email your school Principal.
