Today, Cassidy Swejda, a 2016 graduate from St. Thomas Aquinas High School is being recognized by the Canadian Blood Services for her volunteer work as a peer recruiter. For the past four years at the high school, Cassidy has worked to educate her classmates and peers about the importance of donating blood and she also helped them to sign up.
Cassidy will be recognized on September 12th along with many other honourees from across Canada at the grand national celebration in Ottawa.
