During the week of May 1 - 6 theKenora Catholic District School Board will celebrate the significant contribution that Catholic Education has made to the community, the province and to Canada. Catholic Education Week is marked by special activities at all grade levels, including prayer celebrations and activities. The theme for this year's Catholic Education Week is "Opening Doors of Mercy".

"Catholic Education Week is a province-wide celebration of the unique and significant contributions that Catholic schools have made to our communities and to society," says Phyllis Eikre, Director of Education. "We invite our families and community members to take extra notice of our students' accomplishments, values and our district school cultures. Everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating Catholic Education Week 2016 by attending a school mass or participating in any activities happening in our Catholic schools."
