At the Board Meeting of May 15, 2018, held at St. John School, Phyllis Eikre, Director of Education announced the appointment of Jamey Robertson as the new Vice Principal at Pope John Paul II School and Marnie Buffett as the new Early Years Coordinator. The appointments will be effective, September 2018, at the start of the new school year.

"On behalf of our Leadership Team I would like to congratulate Jamey and Marnie on their new leadership roles," said Phyllis Eikre, Director of Education. "Jamey is an accomplished, results-driven, Catholic leader within the board. Partnering Jamey as the Vice Principal at Pope John Paul II School with Tammy Bush, as Principal brings together a dynamic and proven-team to support the school. Marnie is passionate about children, student learning and supporting the development of the whole child - spiritually, academically and socially. She will continue to create connections with children, families and community agencies in her new role."

My many years of experience in elementary education have affirmed for me that each child's early years have a life-long impact and are critical to the development and growth of individual students. I look forward to working with the amazing staff at all of our schools in this new role to continue supporting students in reaching their full potential. I am blessed and grateful to be able to serve in this new way."
