St. Thomas Aquinas High School is set to have a new collaborative Leadership Team for the 2017/2018 School Year. Teachers Travis Batters and Kylie Hughes have accepted a shared Vice Principal position. They will work as a collaborative leadership team with Principal, Michelle Sawa.

Quick Facts:

  • Travis and Kylie each have over 10 years of teaching experience at the Kenora Catholic District School Board and hold many qualifications.

  • Travis will retain the portfolio of Student Success and Kylie will retain the portfolio of Guidance Counselor.

  • Victoria Swejda, the current Vice Principal at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, has accepted the full time Principal role at Pope John Paul II School.

  • The new assignments will begin on August 28, 2017, at the beginning of the 2017/18 school year.
