The Kenora Catholic District School Board is very pleased to once again host the Family Art Jamboree. This event is open to students in Kindergarten to Grade 6 from all KCDSB elementary schools. Last year over 300 people participated, and the feedback was so positive that it's being offered again this year. It is going to be bigger and better with even more workshops to choose from!
Families will be able to choose from these workshops: pottery, sun catchers, ink tile painting, fused glass, jigging and square dancing, drumming, beading, papermaking, tissue paper overlay, Zumba dance, creative movement, card making 101, smashbook scrapbooking, photography and filmmaking.
When: Saturday, April 29th from 1 pm - 4:30 pm
Where: Pope John Paul II School
Registration for the Family Art Jamboree opens on April 6th and closes on April 13th at 4:30 pm. Registration is available online or by telephone by calling Karen at 468-9851. Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible as sessions will fill up quickly.
Information packages are being sent home today with all elementary students.
This event is being hosted in partnership with the Ontario Arts Council, Lake of the Woods Arts Community and Q104 / KenoraOnline.
