We have received a traffic alert from the City of Kenora that will impact families picking up their children at school at the end of the day on Friday, May 31.
Lakeview Drive will be reduced to one lane from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and significant traffic delays are expected as Moncrief Construction Ltd. completes concrete works near Husky the Musky.
To avoid delays, the City recommends using alternative routes via HWY 17-A, Veterans Drive, Darlington Drive, Ninth Street North, Railway Street, and Valley Drive. Eastbound traffic from Keewatin and Norman may experience delays of up to 45 minutes.
