On December 2, 2020, we are launching SMS text messaging to enhance communication with our families.

By opting-in to receive text messages from your school and the KCDSB, it will allow us to deliver important information about early bus dismissals, student evacuations, school closings, safety alerts and more straight to your mobile phone.

OPT-IN DATE
On December 2, 2020, at approximately 10:00 AM, all families with a mobile telephone number registered in our Student Information System will receive an opt-in text message from the KCDSB. The most important step to prepare for the opt-in date is to ensure that your mobile telephone number is accurately recorded at your child's school before December 2, 2020.

After our launch date of December 2, 2020, you can opt-in or out at any time. 

If your mobile number has recently changed, please contact your child’s school to update your records:
