Dear Family and Friends of the Kenora Catholic District School Board:
The Christmas season is a special time for children, families and staff at Kenora Catholic. Through Advent and Christmas activities, prayer services, extra-curriculars, and through acts of kindness, charity, fellowship, and service. We are a community of Love, Hope and Faith, and so many of you give generously so that others may have a happy Christmas. Throughout Advent, we have witnessed so many examples of our school communities reaching out to those less fortunate, and it’s an amazing testament to what happens daily in our Catholic schools.
As we journey through the last days of Advent and prepare to welcome Christ into our lives and homes, take a moment to watch this heartwarming video that captures the innocence and pure magic of Christmas through our students:
I wish you a joyous and restful Christmas Break and look forward to beginning anew in January. Christmas Break is from Monday, December 19, to Monday, January 2. Students start school on
Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
As we celebrate the birth of our Lord, may we share with others the love He came to bring.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours,
Nicole Kurtz
Director of Education
