It is with deep sorrow that we share the news of the passing of Terry Skead, our Elder in Residence.
During this time of mourning, our hearts go out to his loved ones, his wife Anita and their family, the Wauzhushk Onigum Nation, our students and staff, and everyone touched by his profound influence.
Elder Terry Skead was a valued member of our KCDSB community, imparting wisdom, cultural understanding, and guidance. His gentle way and contributions have enriched our understanding and respect for First Nations traditions and culture, leaving a lasting impact on our schools.
In his honour, flags will be respectfully lowered to half-mast until the evening of his funeral.
