2024 Festival Du Voyageur Highlights

On February 22nd students and families gathered at École Ste-Marguerite for Festival Du Voyageur, a vibrant celebration of Métis and French-Canadian heritage. The festival attracted over 170 students, families, and community members. The school grounds were transformed into a voyageur wonderland, offering music, a cozy bonfire, and a warm welcome.

The SMB team and dedicated volunteers played a crucial role, ensuring an immersive experience with interactive games, homemade chili, hot chocolate, and freshly prepared bannock.

The Cabane à Sucre became a sweet haven, leaving lasting memories for attendees. The inclusive event, open to all, whether affiliated with a KCDSB school or not, welcomed everyone with free admission.
