The event was a chance to get into the school, meet the staff, visit the classrooms and enjoy some food.

Everything started with a geocache activity that was planned by Math Support Teacher Cori Litwin. Families needed to work with clues and coordinates on a grid to find the classrooms in the school. Each class provided the team with a new clue.

After the geochacing everyone was invited to have some pizza and cookies outside, served by the Red Lake Miners. Children and youth enjoyed playing in the field and playground.

The winners of the evening's draw were Chael Strilchuk and Aubrey Tougas.
