Each school at the Kenora Catholic District School Board participates in various Remembrance Day Services and activities to help students understand the sacrifice and to remember the members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
This year Pope John Paul II School was honoured to have Warrant Officer, Bill Zroback share his personal experiences, stories and knowledge around Canada's history in war and peace. Officer Zroback helped to put a face to the many soldiers who died so that we may be free.
