The Christmas spirit was extra bright this year on Pope John Paul II School's Christmas Float. The school was honoured to have their float selected as the Best Club or Group Float in the 2017 Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade.
The theme of the parade was "Lake of the Woods Christmas." The school's float had a fishing Santa clause and students roasting marshmallows beside a twinkling faux fire. Courage the Cardinal was on deck too!
It was an amazing community effort bringing together families, community members and the school. The fact that the school won was the icing on the cake!
Congratulations PJP II! Thank you to Derouard Trucking, all the families and everyone who helped make the PJP II float twinkle with Christmas spirit.
