Grade 12 students, Kellen Willis and Ben Woods, are heading to the provincial Skills Ontario Competition on May 7 - 9th in Toronto. The students came in third place in the film and television production category at the qualifier held in Thunder Bay on April 7th. They are among only seven students in the riding to qualify for the Skills Ontario Competition.
The Skills Ontario Competition is a cornerstone event. Over 20,000 spectators converge on this three-day event to watch over 2000 of the brightest young people of Ontario complete in one of 67 skills contests offered.
