he Kenora Catholic District School Board would like to inform families and the community that there may be a disruption to the Crossing Guard Services within the City of Kenora at the end of the school day today. The City of Kenora is working as quickly as possible to resolve the situation to ensure Crossing Guards are in place. The City of Kenora has advised that they will have staff stationed at the crossing locations acting as crossing guards until School Crossing Guards are in place.
The Kenora Catholic District School Board would like to urge drivers, students and families to exercise extra caution whenever children are present. There can be considerable traffic and congestion in school zones with students walking, riding bicycles and accessing school buses.
School dismissal is 3:20 p.m. and school start is 8:50 a.m. Before, during and after these times there is congestion in school zones.
