The Kenora Catholic District School Board is hosting its very first Youth Rally events, October 26th and 27th, with evangelizer and entertainer Jesse Manibusan. Jesse Manibusan will be celebrating faith with students through songs, storytelling, multimedia shows and discussions, building a sense of excitement and community. Over the course of the two-day celebration, Jesse will be providing various Youth Rallies with different age groups of students.
"We are very excited to be hosting our first series of Youth Rallies here on the Catholic Campus, says Mariette Martineau, Religious Education and Family Life Coordinator. "We've never done anything like this before. The events are going to be dynamic, encouraging and inspiring. During the Youth Rallies with Jesse Manibusan, we want our students to get excited about their faith. We want to light a fire within them and have them feel proud and inspired to be part of a culture and community based on values."
Public Concert with Jesse Manibusan
As part of the two-day celebration the Board is also hosting a public concert that everyone is invited to attend. Here are the details:

Jesse earned an MA in Multicultural Ministries from the Franciscan School of Theology, Berkeley, CA, and gives concerts, workshops, parish missions, and retreats. Jesse's music is published by Oregon Catholic Press and Spirit & Song (a division of OCP). In 2014, Jesse received the National Catholic Youth Award, for Presenter/Artist Category by the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministries, INC.
