St. Louis School's 6th Annual Community Cleanup took place May 3rd in the neighbourhood of Keewatin. This year the students were able to clean up 13 full bags of garbage. Core French and Technology Teacher, Stephanie Williams, talks about the initiative: "Our students love Community Cleanup day. They take pride in their neighbourhood and community, and they want to see it litter-free. This initiative is a great way to show the students that their contributions make an impact." Students from kindergarten to grade 6 participated in the event throughout the day as part of Catholic Education Week.
