Students Learn to Love Winter Through Northern Studies

Students in grades 4 and 5 from Pope John Paul II School, École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys and St. Louis School have been having a blast over the past few days. That's because the students have been out experiencing all that winter has to offer at Mount Evergreen Ski Club.

Northern Studies Teacher Cassandra Babiachuk explains, "we've partnered up with Green Adventures for our Northern Studies Program. Living in Northwestern Ontario means experiencing activities during the winter season so it's very important that we instill a love of the outdoors in our students."

At Mount Evergreen Ski Club the students were able to go cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sliding, tubing and ice skating.
