Valentine's Day with a Sweet Tradition

It was just so sweet to see all the Kindergarten children with their special sweethearts today at St. Louis School's Sweetheart Breakfast. Ms. Smith and Ms. Clarke's Kindergarten classes teamed up and hosted the event and the entire bottom floor of St. Louis school was just filled with delicious snacks and treats, children and their families. Each student could invite their special sweethearts to come to school and share some snacks. Carpets and blankets were laid out on the floor so everyone could have a little picnic or just a comfortable spot to sit and play with the learning materials.

Ms. Smith talks about the event, "the Sweetheart Breakfast on Valentine's Day is a long standing tradition at St. Louis School. It's really fun because it gives families a chance to come and spend time in the classrooms and each child feels very special. It's a wonderful little community and such a nice way to bring families together to celebrate Valentine's Day."

After everyone had a snack the students had a chance to put Valentine's cards in each child's special Valentine's Day pouch.

Happy Valentine's Day from the Kindergarten classes at St. Louis School.
