St. John School - Takes it Outside!
On Thursday, October 29, St. John School spent an hour outside together for Take Me Outside Day!
St. John School joined schools across Canada by going outside to raise awareness about the importance of stepping away from the screens and spending time in nature. "We had an amazing hour of skipping, playing with sidewalk chalk, dancing, playing ball sports and hanging on the monkey bars. We always have fun when we do things together as a school community but being in the fresh air always makes things better," says Katie Perchuk, Student Success Teacher. "Students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 enjoyed the hour and we hope that it encourages students to spend more time outdoors in the future."
