On Monday, May 2nd St. Thomas Aquinas High School announced that they will be hosting the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Association (OFSAA) 'A' Girls Volleyball Championships in March 2019.
Megan Derouard Head Coach for the senior girls' team says it's an amazing opportunity for the school and the community. "The volleyball program at St. Thomas Aquinas High school has definitely made a name for itself at the OFSAA level. We are thrilled to be bringing OFSAA girls volleyball back to Kenora. Our teams have to travel far for OFSAA every year, and it's a great opportunity for our students to stay and showcase St. Thomas Aquinas High School and the Catholic school board."
