October 8 - Today is the 15th anniversary of Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day in Ontario. The Kenora Catholic District School Board would like to recognize the important role that our Early Childhood Educators play in the development of our children while enriching their lives and preparing them for success.
"On this special day of recognition I am privileged to thank all of our Early Childhood Educators in all of our schools for facilitating the work of childhood, enriching children's lives and assisting learning through play-based activities," says Phyllis Eikre, Director of Education.
Early Childhood Educators within the Kenora Catholic District School Board provide positive, play-based experiences for young children all while infusing the learning with faith values. Through their hard work and dedication, Early Childhood Educators are giving children a brighter future, providing families with support and creating beautiful minds. These important foundations continue to help children throughout their lives.
