Kenora Catholic District School Board

The Kenora Catholic District School Board strives to ensure that families are well-supported through its shared commitment to well-being and education, with our child care partners.

The KCDSB, in partnership with licensed child care providers, offer care for children from 18 months to 3.8 years in Kenora. We currently have three schools that have these programs:

École Ste. Marguerite Bourgeoys: Toddler program and Preschool program (Kenora)

St. John Paul II School: Toddler program and Preschool program (Kenora)

Our before-and after-school programs are offered for students in Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Families may be eligible for subsidies to help cover the cost of before-and-after school programs. For information on applying for fee subsidies for child care, please visit the Kenora Services Board Website.

Child Care providers will be able to provide you with more information about the registration process for your child. Some centres may work from a waiting list while others may be able to complete registration at the time of inquiry.

The new vision for Canada-wide early learning and child care (CWELCC) looks to ensure that all families in Canada have access to high-quality, affordable, flexible and inclusive child care no matter where they are.
