Soccer Skills Development Camp

Students at the soccer field

Kenora Catholic is proud to offer a Soccer Skills Development Program to students in Grades 2 to 8. The program is offered in partnership with the Kenora Athletic Soccer Club and runs after school for 8-10 weeks in April and June. The program focuses on building soccer skills, developing overall athleticism, teamwork, team play and tactical skills as well as fostering a love of soccer and having fun within peer groups.

Elementary

At the elementary level children are divided into two age-categories. The older students play at the Kenora Sports Complex while the younger students play in the gyms at Pope John Paul II and École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys. Both groups move outdoors behind St. Thomas Aquinas when the weather allows. Parents must pre-register their children for the program which begins in April.

Secondary

The Soccer Skills Development Program is expanded in 2018 to include students in Grades 7 and 8 at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. Parents will need to pre-register their children for the program which begins in April.
