The community spirit was incredible! Our schools set out together to fill a bus for the Miracle Marathon, nearly overflowing with donated items. It was so packed that students almost didn’t fit in the bus. Special thanks to all donors, school staff, and the Grade 11 Leadership Class for leading the charge.

Initiatives like this reflect how KCDSB prioritizes spirituality, faith community, and compassion as central to everything we do, and teaches students that there is so much joy in service. Academic success is important, but what is just as important is that our students grow up to be good people, who help to make the world around them better for everyone.
