The Kenora Catholic District School Board is pleased to announce that Teresa Gallik and Paul Landry have been acclaimed to their respective positions at the boardroom table. Teresa Gallik was acclaimed as chair, while Paul Landry was acclaimed as vice chair. The elections were held at the Annual Board Meeting on November 20, 2023.
The acclamations signify the trustees' continued confidence and trust in their abilities to steer the Board toward continued excellence in Catholic education.
Upon accepting the gavel as chair, Teresa Gallik expressed a deep sense of honour and gratitude for the support.
"I express my sincerest appreciation to my fellow trustees for once again entrusting me to lead as chair with this precious gift of Catholic education. Our collective commitment to Catholic educational excellence, inclusivity, belonging, and fostering a nurturing environment helps shape our students and prepare them for a successful future."
Teresa Gallik is entering her sixth consecutive term as chair, while Paul Landry is entering his second term as vice chair.
