Guardian AngelsStudents from St. Thomas Aquinas High School are sharing their gifts at Christmas time. The Art classes and Grade 10 Religion classes have teamed up to participate in a Guardian Angel Project.

Nancy Prouty, English Language and Arts Department Head talked about the project. "The Guardian Angel Project started after the staff and students discussed how blessed we are at Christmas time. Our students have been reflecting on how fortunate they are to live in Canada and go to a school where they are safe, able to meet friends and have fun. We decided to use our artistic talents to create ceramic angel tea lights and angel tree ornaments with all the proceeds of the sales being donated to charity."

The Guardian Angels will be available for sale at the Notre Dame du Portage Church on Saturday, December 10th and Sunday, December 11th. The tea lights are $10.00 and the tree ornaments are $5.00 and would make the perfect keepsake gift at Christmas time.
