Five students from Sheila White's Anishinaabewmowin Class at St. Thomas Aquinas High School recited a prayer in the Ojibway language at the Festival of the Arts on Monday, April 18th at the Knox United Church. The prayer was to the Creator and was written by a Treaty #3 Knowledge Keeper.

A few comments from the students about their experience:

"It felt good doing the prayers."

"I didn't feel nervous. I felt confident."

"It was a fun day. We didn't know we would be selected to do it again. That is nice."
