St. Thomas Aquinas High School Murals and Public Art Class create a snow sculpture for Hockey Day in Canada
The students worked very hard in cold temperatures to create a snow sculpture for Hockey Day in Kenora on the Harbourfront. They chose a goalie in a dynamic pose to emphasize the drama and athleticism of the great Canadian game of Hockey. Strength and determination balanced with poise and beauty - these are some of the values of Canada embodied within the image of the goalie.
