We are very sad to announce that on Sunday, March 6th 'Havoc', St. Louis School's beloved Therapy Dog, passed away due to complications associated with a recent surgery.
Havoc was a valued and cherished member of the St. Louis school community and was loved by all staff and students. Havoc was most happy when he was able to wear his red bandana and go to school to do his important work; listen to children read. He played a starring role in the school's drama productions, greeted students on the first day of school and he's been a loyal friend whenever he was needed.
As we journey through this Lenten season we want to express our gratitude to God for having blessed us with the gift of 'Havoc', one of God's furry creatures. Havoc made the students feel accepted unconditionally, he calmed children, allowed them to unburden their worries and concerns as he listened patiently. He truly was God's precious gift to the St. Louis School community.
May we keep Tammy Hanstead and the school community in our thoughts and prayers as they grieve the loss of their dear friend Havoc.
