The Kenora Catholic District School Board invites visitors to explore the brand new websites that have recently been launched at the Board and at each school.
The implementation of the new websites was a collaboration between Craig Debbo, Manager of Information Technology Services and Trina Henley, Executive Assistant to the Director and Communications Officer.
"Our new websites have been completely redesigned with the visitor's experience firmly in mind," says Trina Henley. "We wanted to align our new websites closely with the Board's strategic vision of discovering and celebrating joy in the educational journey. Our new websites allow us to capture and showcase moments, stories, pictures and videos that tell our stories and celebrate what is happening in our schools and within our board. Each school website is linked to the board website creating an integrated communications platform where information and stories can be shared and broadcasted to each location."
"The new websites are designed using the latest technology so the sites are compatible with today's browsers and mobile devices as well as meeting the accessibility needs of some of visitors. The sites have a colorful, clean design, with easy to navigate functionality and an overall content rich experience. The new websites also provide social media integration and direct links to the board's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube channels. In fact the Board's Twitter and Facebook sites are streaming content on each website so visitors don't even need to log into an account to read the latest feeds and stay connected," says Craig Debbo.
The vision of the new website is about showcasing the school board's culture and Catholic values, creating alignment and providing an opportunity for visitors to quickly access information. The new websites allow the board to continue creating connections, telling stories and building relationships.
