New SJS LogoSt. John School continues its evolution after many exciting years of transformation by unveiling a new school logo. The new logo reflects the 'SJS' school community, the recent achievement of FranklinCovey Leader in Me Lighthouse recognition as well as the Catholic values of the school community.

"The new logo is important for St. John school because it reflects the transformation that our school community has undergone in the last few years," says Principal Michelle Sawa. "The lighthouse logo also represents lasting light and that our students shine brightly now and will continue to shine into the future, even after they graduate from St. John School."

The logo was designed around the concept of a lighthouse to reflect the school's achievement of FranklinCovey Lighthouse recognition in April 2015 for a well-rounded leadership model. 'Hope Lives Here' is an important mission statement for St. John School and is reflected in the design of the logo along with the abbreviation 'SJS' which is a term St. John School proudly uses to refer to their school community.

The school partnered up with a company called Designs that Fly to create a few variations of the school logo. The students then voted on their favorite logo which was then presented to the Board of Trustees. On December 10th the Board of Trustees approved the new logo for St. John School which will now be used as the logo for St. John School.
