Announcing New Principal at St. John School
The Kenora Catholic District School Board is proud to welcome Corinna Glazier as the new Principal at St. John School in Red Lake. Corinna will begin her Principalship August 2016 at the start of the new school year.

Corinna holds a Bachelor of Education, Primary/Junior/Intermediate as well as an Honours, Bachelor of Arts from Lakehead University. She also will have Principal's Qualifications Part 1 and 2 completed by June 2016.

St. John School achieved Franklin Covey Leader in Me Lighthouse recognition in 2015 for the attainment of a well-rounded leadership model. At the time, there were only 8 other schools in Canada to achieve this level of recognition. Corinna was a driving force on the Leader in Me Implementation team.

Corinna held the role of Learning Resource Teacher since 2010 and has continued in this position since 2012. She also has been the Numeracy Facilitator, Innovative Technology Teacher, Teacher in Charge, Teacher Mentor, Faith Ambassador, SJS Lighthouse Classrooms and School Improvement/Lighthouse Team Member.

Corinna began her teaching career at St. John School in 2004.
With approximately 140 students St. John School is a junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 school located in beautiful Red Lake, Ontario. Awarded Leader in Me Lighthouse recognition in 2015, St. John School is promoting and cultivating a "growth mindset" that includes leadership, culture and academics. This school continues to transform their school's culture through Franklin Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and the Leader in Me Process, with leadership roles for all students. St. John School starts every day with a 'start me up' assembly. The energizing and fun tradition helps to build a positive school climate and create strong relationships and a sense of community.
