Most questions or concerns can be addressed directly at the school level by speaking with your student's:

- Classroom Teacher
- Vice-Principal / Principal

Whether the concern relates to the classroom, school environment, student well-being, or Board processes, the chart outlines the recommended first step.

If you have already spoken with your child’s school and require additional support or follow-up, families may submit a request through the Student and Family Support Office intake form.

Timelines

The KCDSB Student and Family Support Office is committed to timely and responsive support. Families can expect inquiries to be acknowledged within two (2) business days and a response provided within five (5) business days whenever possible.

Please note that timelines may be longer during school breaks, holidays, summer months, or periods when schools are closed.
