Kenora Catholic’s Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) is looking for new members to support and strengthen inclusive education.
SEAC includes parents, caregivers, community members, local association reps, and KCDSB staff who are committed to helping every student succeed.
If you’re passionate about supporting students with special education needs, we invite you to get involved.
Who Can Join?
You may be a great fit for SEAC if you are:
- A representative of a local association that supports individuals with special education needs
- A member-at-large, who is a separate (Catholic) school elector and interested in special education
- A First Nation representative, endorsed by a First Nation community with an education agreement with KCDSB
- A parent or caregiver of a student receiving special education programs or services
- An advocate or community member with lived experience or expertise in special education
- A KCDSB Trustee or designate staff member (by appointment)
Eligibility Criteria
- To apply as a member-at-large, you must be a separate (Catholic) school elector.
- To apply for a First Nation seat, you must be endorsed by a First Nation community that has an education agreement with the KCDSB.
