It is the mission of the Information Technology (IT) department to ensure that the computing facilities meet the needs of the staff and students and that new requests are handled in a timely manner.
We provide resources to help the Board teach 21st Century Skills, we support programs that allow for collaborative and inquiry based learning and we also support all of the traditional tools required to participate in the 21st century.
We believe that technology is a means to an end, not the end itself.
Services
All students and staff have access to collaborative tools such as e-mail, newsfeeds, internal chat-rooms and internal twitter-like feeds, blogs, and interactive spaces and tools. We also provide moderated wireless (WiFi) Internet access for all students and staff.
The IT department is also responsible for data storage, networking, systems integration, identity management, hosting our SiS, Financial/HR services, and maintaining our collaborative spaces.
