LeaderinMe

LeaderinMe group

At Kenora Catholic we recognize the importance of students graduating with not just academic skills, but a skillset that will see them become contributing members of society. The LeaderinMe® program helps students learn the seven habits of becoming a leader while also achieving academic success. The program began when a principal in the U.S. identified leadership as a critical skill based on community feedback. She approached FranklinCovey as a partner in designing, developing and implementing a leadership model for her school, which drew on The 7 Habits: Be Proactive, Begin With the End in Mind, Put First Things First, Think Win-Win, Seek First to Understand and Then to Be Understood, Synergize and Sharpen the Saw. Within a few years the school experienced a complete turnaround and since then The LeaderinMe® program has been implemented in more than 3,000 schools in 50 countries.

LeaderinMe® is currently offered at École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys in Kenora and St. John School in Red Lake. In 2015, St. John School was only one of nine schools in Canada to achieve Lighthouse recognition for leadership by FranklinCovey.
