You have given us a lot to think about and we are grateful for your input.

These Thoughtexchange sessions are incredibly valuable and informative to us as we make decisions and plan for school in September. We are working with all five school boards in Northwestern Ontario; the Northwest Catholic District School Board, the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board, Rainy River District School Board and the Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boreales to develop consistent plans that put the safety and well-being of students, families and staff at the center of all planning.

We are committed to communicating these plans to you in August, well before the start of the new school year.

As we look toward September, we will continue to explore this data and the individual school survey data and use it to inform our decisions and communications. We will bring this information forward to our principals, equity and special education leads, and staff and continue to work with our union groups and stakeholders.
