Labour Relations Update #10 - OECTA Cancels Rotating Strikes.  All Kenora Catholic Schools will be OPEN to students on Tuesday, February 25.

Late this afternoon the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association (OECTA) provided notice that it has agreed to suspend its rotating strikes for the week of February 24 – 28, 2020. This means that the Kenora Catholic District School Board will now be OPEN to students on Tuesday, February 25, and regular programming will continue.

We are committed to providing you with information about changes as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your assistance in helping us communicate this change within our school communities with students, parents and families.

Your support, patience and understanding are greatly valued during this time. We remain optimistic that a new central agreement will soon be reached with OECTA.
