The first day of school for the 2020-21 School Year is Thursday, September 3. We are looking forward to welcoming your child to school. The return to school in the fall of 2020-21 is voluntary and based on parent choice. For parents who choose not to send their child(ren) back to school, Kenora Catholic will offer the option of remote education.

The Ministry of Education has released three potential models for a return to learning for the 2020-2021 school year. In order to help families prepare for the upcoming year, we wanted to share information about each of the models so families know what options are being considered (see attached graphics). The Ministry of Education has indicated they will let school boards know which of the three models we will be following during the first week of August. Once that decision has been made, we will communicate with families which of the models we will be using for the start of the school year. Please see the bullets below for additional information around a return to learning and the 2020-2021 school year.
