Kenora Catholic students have been learning about the importance of Remembrance Day, and have been working on creative ways to express their gratitude.
Students at Pope John Paul II School decorated the school with handmade poppies, crosses, and informative posters.
At St. Louis School students in all classes helped prepare for Remembrance Day by creating several poppy banners which are displayed outside the school.
Students at École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys created artwork to represent the day.
Students in St. John School's 7/8 French class performed a poem in both French and English.
Grade 8 students at St. Isidore Virtual School created digital art collages. The project went with a Remembrance Day lesson on the poppy and Art lesson on monochromatic colours.

All schools also held virtual Remembrance Day Prayer Services to honour those who have served, and continue to serve Canada during times of war, conflict, and peace.
