PRESENTATIONS
At the December 20th Annual Board Meeting Frank Bastone was acclaimed as Chair. Teresa Gallik was elected as the Vice Chair. Bastone is entering his 6th consecutive year as the Chair while Gallik is entering her second consecutive year as Vice Chair. Click here to read more about the elections.

Each school via the school principal or a delegate brought greetings on behalf of their school for the newly elected Chair and Vice Chair.
REPORTS
Roof Tender for École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys
Andrew Poirier, Manager of Operational Services provided a report on the Roof Tender for École Ste-Marguerite Bourgeoys. Poirier reported that there were 6 bids for the tender and the successful bidder was Oakwood Roofing form Winnipeg, Manitoba at $431,000. Bids ranged from $180,000 to $1.4 million. The project will begin in May and be completed by mid-July.
Policy #16 - Selection of the Director of Education
The trustees accepted a motion for the review of Policy #16 - Selection of the Director of Education with no revisions at this time.
Student Trustee Report
Student Trustee Jieren Bornia provided a report on the notable accomplishments, humanitarian activities and events happening at St. Thomas Aquinas High School for November.

Next Board Meeting
The Next Board Meeting of the Kenora Catholic District School Board is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24th at 7:00 p.m. at the Catholic Education Center. The December Board Meeting is the inaugural board meeting where the elections for the position of Chair and Vice Chair will take place.
